SliderDock R4

SliderDock is an application launcher that looks as a wheel and has the aim of giving you quicker access to your programs (or files) on the fly.

After you install SliderDock, first you’ll see a little bubble on your desktop. Next, you’ll have to drag and drop your icons (one by one or more at once) over the little bubble. After this, you’ll have your icons arranged in the shape of a wheel and you’ll be able to scroll through them using your mouse wheel.

In case you run one of your application, the wheel and the bubble will disappear (it will hide in the tray) and to make it appear, you can easily press by default CTRL + SHIFT.

In case you want a clean desktop, you can delete (if you want to) your desktop shortcuts and keep only those within the SliderDock. Be careful to delete only the shortcuts, not your documents or other files (the application creates only shortcuts within the bubble).

The advantage of using SliderDock is clear because you can access your applications (or files) easily without having to minimize your current windows. Beside, you can see all your favorite windows wallpaper without being covered by your icons.

The application it’s very small (under 5 Mb) and it can be found as installer but there's also a portable version. The application is very easy to use; you just have to use your mouse scroll mostly.
